Silver Spoons Posted by Hello

Busy Boy

Knox is busy grabbing everything within his reach. This morning I was holding him while I made coffee, and he reached for the paper filter to squeeze and test out in his mouth. Then he crinkled the coffee bag and really went for the shiny metal measuring spoons. He is now sitting in his booster seat gnawing on measuring spoons and dropping them on the floor. It's nice to have such an enthusiastic participant in the kitchen.

Hi, there!  Posted by Hello

I see green beans! Posted by Hello

Up and Running

The blog, that is, not Knox! He IS up if you count sitting! He can sit quite well and manages to touch his toes and play with toys for a moment or two before tipping over. Today Knox ate his first vegetable--green beans. He liked it better than baby cereal. He says "dadada" (merely babble without meaning attached, his mother consoles herself with!) and likes to splutter and spit. He opens his mouth into the widest, happiest shape when we swing him through the air or spin him in a circle. Clay's favorite game with Knox is "blast off", which consists of holding Knox out at arm's length, counting down 3, 2, 1, blast off!, and jiggling him up, up, and away, while Knox's chubby cheeks are flapping in the breeze. I'll try to figure out how to post video clips so you can see blast off.

Chillin' with Daddy . . . Posted by Hello

There's no way to measure our love for you, Knox! Posted by Hello

Presenting of . . .

My blog! What times we live in that with no computer know-how I can make a journal, complete with photographs, to share with friends and family. Thanks, Leah, for the inspiration! This blog is dedicated to our baby boy Knox, with the purpose of sharing him with all our special people. To kiss his chubby cheeks is to love him. To see his chubby cheeks is to want to kiss them. These are definitely the best days of our lives!
